Newcastle Hunter DJs are Open-Format DJs. This means we can play any and all genres and songs and can seamlessly transition between different genres. If you are not sure about specific music for your event, we can also help create the perfect vibes through our years of experience.

Absolutely! We love a good song request, but we also leave it up to you on how we play it on the night. If you don’t want guests making song requests we can do that, or if you want us to use our own judgement for song requests we can do that as well!

Our wedding packages start from $999 + GST. Additional fees can apply for things such as additional hours, travel fees outside of Newcastle/Hunter, extra gear required, etc.
Our event/corporate packages are custom quoted to fit each specific event. Reach out via our contact form for a detailed quote.

Setting up and packing down our equipment is included in all packages. Meaning, if you book us for 5 hours, we will be playing music for 5 hours. Setup / pack down is outside of this time. We will arrive approximately an hour before the music start time for setup, however we may require more time for more complicated setup / bookings.

Newcastle Hunter DJs Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Agreement Overview
This agreement is entered into between Newcastle Hunter DJs (“Company”) and [Client Name(s)] (“Client”) for the provision of DJ and related entertainment services at the event described below. By signing this agreement, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms outlined herein.2. Booking and Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required to secure the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 28 days prior to the event. Payments may be made via Bank Transfer. Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of services.3. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the Client. The initial deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. If the Client cancels within 28 days of the event date, the full balance may be held as cancellation fee. In the unlikely event that the Company must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments received will be issued.4. Changes to Event Details
Any changes to the agreed event details, including time, location, or services, must be communicated as soon as possible. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such changes but cannot guarantee availability or adjustments. The Company reserves the right to appropriately adjust the payment details if changes to the event incur additional fees, including but not limited to; additional time, additional travel, additional equipment required.5. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide a safe working environment, including reliable access to power and suitable shelter for equipment. The Client must inform the Company of any venue-specific rules or restrictions that may impact performance. For events classed as wedding bookings, the provision of meals and refreshments for the DJ will be required. Any other events which are equal to or longer than a booking time of 5 Hours will also require a meal to be provided. If a meal cannot be provided, or the Client refuses, the Company reserves the right to charge an appropriate fee for a suitable meal to be provided.6. Equipment and Setup
The Company will arrive in advance to allow adequate setup time before the event begins. The Client accepts responsibility for any loss or damage to equipment caused by guests or themself, excluding normal wear and tear.7. Music Requests and Playlist
The Client may submit a playlist and a list of songs or genres to be played and/or avoided prior to the event. The DJ will use professional judgment to adapt music selections to suit the atmosphere and audience. Guest requests may be considered at the DJ’s discretion.8. Liability and Insurance
The Company maintains appropriate public liability insurance where applicable. The Company shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to power outages, weather conditions, or venue-related disruptions that may affect performance.9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held responsible for failure or delay in performing obligations under this agreement if such failure is due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or emergencies.10. Overtime
If the Client requests an extension of performance time beyond the agreed schedule, overtime may be provided subject to availability and will be charged at a rate of $150.00 per hour. Payment terms for overtime must be agreed upon in advance or settled immediately following the event.11. Conduct and Safety
The Company reserves the right to cease services without refund if the DJ is subjected to unsafe conditions including but not limited to; harassment, illegal behavior, threatening actions or violence, risk of damage or damage to equipment.12. Use of Media
The Company may capture photographs or video recordings during the event for promotional use unless the Client expressly declines such use in writing prior to the event.
